Players in either program must meet all requirements and must be placed by the Director of Tennis or High Performance Coach to participate.
Sports Psychology Training
Angelika Sadar, M.A., PTR works one on one with tennis players to help minimize mental interference (inattention, impulsivity, anger/behavioral issues) so that kids can reach their potential on the tennis court, in school, and in life. She has worked with more than 50 nationally ranked juniors, and is the Official Sports Psychologist of the Philadelphia Freedoms. Angelika uses tools such as traditional sports psychology/ psychotherapy to teach athletes to use their thoughts to their advantage (rather than to work against themselves), heart rate variability training to manage emotions, and interactive metronome training. Additional tools may be introduced based on the needs of the athlete. Training can occur either on or off court. Group/Clinic rates available.
For more information please contact Angelika Sadar.
