Frog Hollow
Frog Hollow Racquet Club is located on 11.5 acres of land in Lansdale Pennsylvania. We have 6 indoor Novacrylic® high performance hard courts and outside, we have 5 har-tru courts (American clay) for your convenience. Both court surfaces are softer and designed to be easier on a player's body.
We are a year-round tennis facility with something for everyone!
The Club House, originally constructed in the early 1800’s as a barn, gives way to a rustic and friendly atmosphere. We have a great family tennis environment.

BILL BLASE
Bill is a PTR certified teaching professional with over 30 years of experience. He played high school tennis at Holy Ghost Prep, college tennis at LaSalle University, then local MSTA tournaments. After developing and teaching instructional programs for Upper Southampton Township and Spring Mill Country Club, Bill became head pro and Director of Tennis at Ron Jaworski’s Golds Gym and Tennis in Langhorne, Pa. Later, he accepted the position of full time Senior Staff Pro at Northampton Tennis and Fitness in Richboro, Pa where he worked with adults and juniors of all levels in private and group settings for 10 years. At Northampton he developed his expertise in grooming junior players for high school and collegiate teams. As a result of long term private instruction, several of Bill’s students achieved athletic scholarships to Division I schools (St. Bonaventure, Villanova, and La Salle) with one student playing Division III tennis at Gwynedd Mercy University for four years. Bill’s areas of concentration are mechanics, stroke production, strategy, agility, and tennis specific critical thinking.

NEIL CURTIS
Neil is a PTR Certified pro who grew up in Bethlehem/Saucon Valley Area where he attended Saucon Valley High School and Randolph Macon Academy. Later he attended East Stroudsburg University. As a player, Neil was a 4-time City of Bethlehem Singles Tennis Champion and was a two-time District 11 High School Singles Tennis Champion. He went undefeated at #1 Singles at Randolph Macon Academy (VA), the only player in school history to do that. While serving as captain of the tennis team at East Stroudsburg University, NeilI was twice PSAC Singles and Doubles Champion and NCAA Eastern Regional Singles Champion. Neil also played on the MSTA Junior Davis Cup Team and has been ranked in the top 10 in MSTA rankings as a Junior and Senior in both Singles and Doubles.
As a coach, Neil has experience teaching at Shawnee on the Delaware, Lehigh Valley Indoor Tennis Club, Brookside Country Club, West End Racquet Club, and Hanover Community Center. He has given over 60,000 tennis lessons and loves doing it! Additionally, Neil had the privilege of being the Tournament Director of the Lehigh Valley Cystic Fibrosis Tennis Tournament for 25 years. It was the second-largest grossing Cystic Fibrosis event in the entire country. He was awarded MSTA Teaching Pro of the Year twice and has received awards for being Tournament Chairman of the District XI Girls and Boys High School Tennis Tournament for 26 years. More recently, Neil was inducted into the Saucon Valley H.S. Athletic Hall of Fame, the East Stroudsburg University Athletic Hall of Fame, and the EPD Tennis Hall of Fame and was awarded the prestigious USTA / MS/ EPD President's Award.

LARRY ELLIOTT
Larry is a USPTA and USRSA certified tennis professional. Born in Norristown, Pennsylvania, and a graduate of Arizona State University (Go Sun Devils!), Larry is happy to be back in the Philly area where he grew up. Larry’s passion in tennis involves coaching players that are disciplined in their game and have a strong will for improving their skills on the court. Larry has coached tennis all over the country and has published articles in Tennis Magazine, Southwest Tennis Publication, and more! In his off time, Larry enjoys reading, fly fishing, and quiet time in nature. Larry also runs Frog Hollow’s pro shop – stop by and say hello!

HOPETON GREEN
Hopeton Green is a PTR Certified Professional whose professional career began in the Colony Resort in Jamaica in 1985. Since then, he has held several key positions including the tennis coach at Notre Dame Academy in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania and the assistant Tennis Pro at Overbrook Golf Club in Radnor, Pennsylvania. In addition to teaching, Hopeton is an enthusiastic volunteer and contributor to various U.S. and Jamaican-based organizations that benefit children and other worthy causes.

CARLTON JOHNSON
Carlton was born in Philadelphia and raised in Mt. Airy where he played for the Franklin Learning Center High School tennis team and was selected 2nd team All-Public League in his sophomore year and 1st team All Public in his Junior and Senior years. Carlton also was a player, junior instructor, and Site Manager for the National Junior Tennis League (NJTL). At Kutztown University Carlton graduated with a B.S. in Telecommunications. At a young age, Carlton played at Arthur Ashe Youth Tennis Center (now Legacy), Mt. Laurel Racquet Club, and Philadelphia Tennis Club, where he became passionate about the game. As a player, Carlton competed in USTA Middle States Junior and Men's Open tournaments. With an enthusiasm for tennis, Carlton went on to coach club tennis at Greater Pottstown Tennis and Legacy Youth Tennis. He has also coached both middle school, and high school teams, including Agnes Irwin School, and Downingtown West High school's winter training program.
As a PTR Certified teacher, Carlton teaches all styles of play but primarily follows the style Serve Plus One tennis/First Strike Tennis. Carlton loves to teach all levels and all ages. In his free time, Carlton enjoys hiking and reading, and he volunteers at a family-owned animal rescue.

ROBIN MARCANTE
Robin is a PPR Certified Pickleball instructor who has a passion for both pickleball and tennis! Robin was raised in Allentown and graduated from Bloomsburg University. As a long-time Frog Hollow staff member, Robin loves teaching and playing at Frog Hollow. The players and staff are so welcoming and enthusiastic about both tennis and Pickleball. Her love for teaching Pickleball comes from the way her students are always so excited to learn and can typically play by end of their first lesson! When not at the club, Robin spends time with her family and friends in Avalon and Stone Harbor NJ, and Vero Beach Florida.

MIA MATRICCINO
Mia is a PTR Certified pro who grew up in Limerick, Pennsylvania. At Spring-Ford High School, Mia played first singles for her varsity team all 4 years, going undefeated in 3 out of the 4 years. She had the highest winning record for any tennis player in Spring-Ford history. As a freshman, Mia’s team won the state tournament, and in the next two years, her team made it to the state semifinals. As an individual, Mia I won 3rd place in state singles her junior year and won state doubles her senior year. As a national tournament player, Mia reached a high of 67 in the nation in girls' 14s and has had continued success at the sectional and national level. Mia will continue her tennis playing career at Loyola University where she will play Division 1 tennis.
As a coach, Mia has spent her career at Frog Hollow. Her favorite thing to teach is shot selection and strategy when it comes to point play. She also likes to work with players on their serve because she enjoys developing the technical and detailed aspects of the game. When not in school or on the court, Mia enjoys reading and listening to music.

JARED MORGAN
Jared’s passion for Juniors is evident in his ability to train players at many levels. He has trained players to top 5 Sectional Rankings, Top 75 National Rankings, High school and Middle school levels. He has a Professional Rating in 10 and Under and Adult certifications through PTR. He also has a Level 3 Junior Specialist certification that delves deeper into the intricacy of Junior Development. He has been a Tournament Director for 8 and under through 18 and under tournaments. He is on the USTA Coaches Commission and is a USTA EDC (Early development Camp), STC (Sectional Training Camp), and Zonal (National Junior Team Tennis) Coach. He has attended multiple international conferences learning from speakers who’ve trained the top professionals in the world including, Kim Clijsters, Serena Williams, and Kevin Anderson. He attended workshops with Judy Murray for “Miss Hits” program to learn how to keep girls in tennis longer. Jared loves teaching any junior and hopes that when they leave his court, they leave not only a better player but also a better person.

CLEMENT N'GORAN
Clement N’Goran is Frog Hollow’s Assistant Performance Director. Clement brings exceptional quality to our program and his teaching follows the best training techniques in the industry. Clement was an ATP Tour Player from 1988 to 1998 and was top 20 in the world as a junior in 1987. In 1988, Clement competed at the Summer Olympic Games in Seoul, in 1992 in Barcelona, and in 1996 in Atlanta representing the Cote d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast, Africa). Clement has competed at every major ATP tour event, Australian Open, Roland Garros, Wimbledon, and U.S. Open in singles and doubles and has played in the Davis Cup for Ivory Coast Africa (1988 - 1991). As a coach, Clement taught at the International Tennis Academy (Florida 1999), was a traveling coach in Europe and Africa for International Tennis Federation for world championships Under 18,16,14-year-old categories and is the founder and head coach of N’Goran Tennis Concept and N’Goran Tennis Club Association in Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast Africa, 2010 - 2020). Clement obtained a “Staff Certificate 1st Degree High-Level Sportive Education” from the French Tennis Federation, “Degree Level 2 Coach” from the ITF and Confederation of African Tennis. He has expertise in all phases of the game, including diet, correct physical postures, and designing of high-level training programs. His position at Frog Hollow allows for greater growth for juniors and adults in the High Performance division of our program.

KEVIN SCHMIDT
Kevin coordinates all aspects of the adult program at Frog Hollow Racquet Club such as USTA leagues, Bux Mont, In-House leagues, and adult programs. Kevin is the former tennis program director and junior coordinator at Cherry Hill Health & Racquet Club and was a USTA tournament director for over 15 years. He has coached full-time since 2000, after graduating summa cum laude from Rutgers University with a Sociology degree and Cultural Anthropology minor. In juniors, he has coached numerous High School tennis players playing number one at schools such as Wissahickon, Methacton, Springford, Morrestown Friends, among others. Some of his players have gone on to play college tennis at schools such as Bloomsburg, Moravian, Susquehanna University, and Messiah University. Kevin has coached tournament players including players ranked in the top 20 in the section. In adults, Kevin has coached teams that have participated in USTA nationals, sectionals, and district championships. Teams within his program have won Bux Mont league titles and USTA titles. Furthermore, he loves to teach beginner players to start off their game and love for tennis. He has attended USTA National Workshops/Conferences in Atlanta and USTA Middle States regional conferences in King of Prussia. Also, he attended the USPTA middle states yearly conference in 2017. Kevin incorporates high energy and enthusiasm in every lesson or clinic. In his personal time, Kevin loves to spend time with his wife and two sons and reading literary fiction.

STACEY WEINER
Stacey Weiner is a PTR certified professional who was born in Abington and raised in Northeast Philadelphia where she attended Germantown Academy. She played tennis at Temple University and the University of Redlands in California. Stacey has taught tennis over the years at Levy Tennis Center in Philadelphia, DVTA, Radnor Valley CountryClub and Germantown Cricket Club. Additionally, Stacey coached college tennis at Temple University and Philadelphia University. With all of her experience, Stacey was awarded the 2022 PATD Middle States Tennis Pro of the year. Stacey is passionate about the game of tennis and loves to teach adult doubles tactics and strategy. When she’s not teaching, Stacey loves spending time playing Pickleball!
